Bird watching Tips
Be dressed in dark colour top and bottom with a hat. dark green is best for tropical rain forests.
Pair of binoculars will be an advantage.
most of the birds are more active in the morning and evening than sunny afternoons
walk in small groups (3-7) , but don't try solo in wilderness areas.
canopy opens are more useful than dark trails.
always follow the feeding flocks specially in wet zone.
home garden is the best place for beginners.. use safe place to feeding birds
bird calls are very useful for experienced birders.
use voice recorders to capture there calls, compare with pre recorded bird calls to identify them
don't harm or disturb birds, their habitats or nests.
use a field note book and sketch the bird, use a good guide book for identification.
